It’s tag time! The theme for the August tag swap is nautical and I had a brain freeze on this one for a while, coupled with feeling under the weather due to Gilbert the Gall Stone mucking me around. I had a light bulb moment as I was clearing out some paper and had some retired sea street which was about to hit the shop section that you can find here on the blog. Needless to say, it’s not made it there but on my tags! I have also used some of the lovely pompom trim, I thought it looked like some waves, and stapled that on to the tag. I was going to glue it but I couldn’t find my red tape!
Then I had a blank moment and went through various drawers and stamp sets looking for something else and the sailing ship stamp, retired ages ago, came out to play, otherwise it may have ended up being the sailing ship in the Traveler stamp set with a bit cut off! I was thinking of adding more to the tags, but I think these are just right, clean and simple. I hope you like them (the ones being sent out have the ribbon tab!).
