Tutorial make a mini book album

Time to get out your scroreboard and have some fun making a mini book/album.

I Thought I'd have a go at making a little mini book that I scribbled down the instructions for ages ago that I found when I was doing some blog hopping.  It's really easy to make, a bit of trimming down of some A4 cardstock, scoring, folding and hey presto. I quite like brown and greens together and so used this for the main part of the book.

This is the end result, a little according mini book that measures 4" x 3.5".

I trimmed down two pieces of (green) cardstock (8.5 x 11) to the width that I wanted my mini book to be and then scored each piece at 3, 6 and 9 inches.

Then glue the green cardstock together - one end is shorter than the rest and you can see where you need to glue so that your pieces of cardstock are all the same size.  You then have some little pages inside that you can decorate for your own use or even make this as a gift for someone.

For the cover (the brown cardstock), fold at the at 3 1/2" line and move the cardstock down on your scoring tool. Score again on the next 3" and 3 1/2".  I'm not sure if you can see on the picture above where the score lines are are but you end up with a 'spine' effect.
I then trimmed down and scored some designer series paper to cover the outside and as you see in the main picture.

I then used some ribbon around the little book to make a little tie.  There you go, one mini book :)
