I've taken a piece and given it a colour using basic black ink, you simply wipe your ink pad over to colour the paper and then as it dries wipe of the excess. I also gave it a quick dry with the heat tool. (The low setting on the Stampin' Up! tool). I needed it really dry for the next step.

When I was sure it was dry, I gently wiped my versamark ink pad over the cardstock. Gently, as I wanted streaks to form.
You then sprinkle over your clear embossing powder, tap off your excess, and then heat it up. If using the Stampin' Up! heat tool, you use the high setting.

It gives a great ice effect and I would urge you to watch Melissa's video (why invent the wheel, eh!) and then pop back to my Stampin' Up! online shop to grab your supplies if you are in the UK or Europe (France, Germany, Austria & The Netherlands). Melissa is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator based in the US.
My final creation is made using the foiled papers which are in Sale-a-bration, you can choose these for free with a £45 order. I've used the color me happy stamps (and the coordinating kit is available for free during Sale-a-bration too!).
