Tool Tip : Grid Paper

A quick tip for you this Sunday.

Just like putting a placemat on the table before I eat, I always lay down a sheet of large Grid Paper before I start my project. It protects the table and helps me place my ‘layers’ so they’re straight and true. But did you know it’s also “essential” when designing a project?

Here’s my TIP:

If a project that inspires you includes only METRIC measurements (you might be an old Imperial like me), Grid Paper to the rescue. Flip over the Paper and Voila … a gigantic Metric grid! Using this side of the Paper, follow their cutting dimensions and cut out all the pieces. Make any ‘adjustments’ to fit your project, then use these bits as a Template to create something fantastic!
