Wednesday Challenge & don't miss more savings!

Loving the plaid!

I am in love with the plaid paper, even more so since it's on sale until the end of October!  If you have a box of scraps, give this challenge a go.  The cards shown below are made using:

A Crushed Curry card base A 3-3/4" x 5" (9.5 x 12.7 cm) piece of white cardstock A 4" x 3/4" (10.2 x 1.9 cm) piece of Cajun Craze Cardstock A 5-1/2" x 2" (14 x 5.1 cm) piece of Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper Life Is Beautiful Stamp Set

I love the card with the three panels 1-5/8" x 3-3/4" (4.1 x 9.5 cm) panels. It shows the seasons where the first image has the late summer/early autumn, then the second image has a tree in full autumn glory, and then the final third panel has the tree preparing to cosy up and hibernate for the winter. Check out the build-up of leaves on the bottom of the card, which gets bigger with each panel.   When you get creative, come on over to my Facebook page @EsellekPapercraft and share your projects, I'd love to see what you create.

I'm having a whale of a time!

The blue ridge mountains of Virginia...

...on the trail of the lonesome pine.

This song popped up in my head when I saw this card and video, which may show my age!  Also, I just love the mountains and have been to the Rocky Mountains in Canada, it's just an amazing sight to see these huge pieces of the Earth rising up.  

Anyway, I want to share with you the In the Pines set, another set on my wish list and not yet in my hands as I space out my wants from the catalogues over the lifetime of the catalogues.  Although, saying that, having seen the video, there may be a sneaky little order going in so I can play.

Flowery and 3D - get creative

Hello friends

I was perusing the online shop, and have been umming about the Poinsettia Place Suite, I'm not a flowery person and not sure about the 3D flowers.  But, I have had my mind changed having taken some time to watch George from the Home Office show 'me' that I shouldn't be scared of something so pretty!

Stampin' Up! has made it easy for me to create the perfect poinsettia and have you seen the flocked designer paper, you must check this out and what you can do with it!  The speciality paper isn't in the current paper sale, but the designer paper is, so, as they say, I am going to make hay while the sun is shining as add some poinsettia palace paper in my basket seeing it has 15% off until the end of October!
