Snowflake Wishes

I saw this and just had to share.   Snowflakes are not just for Christmas, although some have had snow, none has fallen (so far) in my little patch of North Norfolk.

Created by Stampin' Up! this is a lovely card and I am CASEing to make some New Year cards myself.

How I'm going to make it:

Find a card blank!  You'll need a piece of paper for the background, cut smaller than your card blank so you have some of the card showing, and using some Stampin' Seal (152813) stick this to your card blank.  (Alas, the paper used is no more as it was in the closeout sale).  I love the guilded autumn paper (153520) which itself is retiring, but do have a rummage in your scrap box.

Stamp some snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes (item 153444) stamp set (be quick, this is currently on low inventory) using versamark (102283)  and then heat emboss (heat tool 129054) using the gold emboss powder (109129).

Using one of the dies from the snow many snowflake dies (153560) - if you don't have the stamps/dies, you can get them in the snowflake wishes bundle and save 10%, item 155172 - cut a snowflake from the black glitter paper (153518).  Finish off with a piece of the gold cord, (152475).  For your sentiment, stamp using tuxedo black (132708) on a piece of white cardstock to make it pop with the gold and add a gem (153536) to the middle of the snowflake.

I'm off to get crafting!  Show me your makes over on my Facebook page :)

Happy crafting & thank you for your support
