Yay, bank holiday Monday and the sun has come out to play. Alas, I’m not capable of going far as the bones are playing up so it was another breakfast of coffee-n-codeine for me. Hey ho, I have just settled down with playing at the craft table and popping out in the sun now and then to slurp some more coffee!
I’ve played with the butterfly punch, it started out with punching out butterflies and then I had an idea which has resulted in this card being made. Using some of the Twitterpated dsp I have punched the butterflies using the elegant butterfly punch then simply reversed them and ‘nearly’ stuck them down. I also had a butterfly left over from some crafting the other day and waste not want not! The sentiment is stamped with a stamp from the curly cute set.
Here’s another one that I have made today. I love the soda pop tops that Stampin’ Up! have introduced in their spring/summer catalogue but I didn’t want mine to pop so much so I have squished one using my big shot!
I’ve used the collage curios stamps with the pop top, I’ve also stamped a couple of extra butterflies, one in the corner on the front and one inside so it’s not so plain.
Half of a doily is popped under some crochet trim and I have punched a scalloped circle which is the reverse pattern of the twitterpated. Finished the card off with the curly cute sentiment and that’s it. It seemed to take forever as the kids kept interrupting playtime! They wanted feeding, get them!
