Kraft and Washi Tape

I thought I’d get the mojo to have a kick and a lovely friend of mine, Soo, is part of some fab design teams.  One of them is SweetPea Stampers and another is over at Dilly Beans.  To get the flow going, I have joined in both of the challenges that are running at the moment.

First up, SweetPea Stampers.  The challenge is to make something featuring Kraft paper.  Here is my entry.  I have used the lovely (digi) stamp by Meredith, gears and glass.  In my tidying up found a Tim Holtz kraft pad so trimmed that a sheets from that and gave it a bit of inking.  I’ve added some SU crochet trim.  Found some frame stickers (not sure where they came from!) and the coloured image I have die cut using a Spellbinder frame.  Mounted it on some SU baked brown sugar cardstock.  And voila here you are…

My other card is for the Dilly Beans challenge.  This one is to use washi tape on your project. I’ve used the Amalia & Crinkles digi stamp for this card.  I’ve coloured the digi image in and then using one of the framelits in the labels collection have die cut it out (using the super magnetic platform as well so it didn’t move when I went to die cut it!).

I’ve used some black and orange cardstock (found in my clear up!), the sentiment is from the morning meadow hostess set and I’ve used the whisper white craft ink pad to stamp it.  I love the washi tape that comes in the witches’ brew set and used some of that on the front and inside, I’ve used some of the washi tape from the this and that pack.  Had to also pop on a couple of rhinestones for some sparkle 🙂  Hope you like it.

I’ve got some more making to do but can’t show you what I have made until next week as I am joining in a blog hop.  So, for now, see you later 🙂
