Welcome to the Stampin’ Up! new 2017-2018 In-Colours

This is one of my favourite times, and indeed sad times, in being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  Come May I will get my hands on some pre-order items before they go live to my customers in June.

But even now, Stampin’ Up! are treating demonstrators to an early release and I am in love!  I have ordered my product special release which is called Eastern Palace, with this I will also have my hands on some new colours. We have Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide coming your way.   I am eagerly watching my order – stalking UPS is a Stampin’ Up! trait!

Eastern Promise goes live for my customers on 1 May and you will have some fab bundles to choose from.

But, do you want to get your hands on this now? Want to join the fun?  In a few days demonstrators will get to see the new 2017-2018 annual catalogue and in May, we will be able to preorder items from the new catalogue.  Isn’t this great, as you could if you choose order some Eastern Promise!  For £99 you choose £130 of products, get to pre-order, see the new catalogue and join a fab team.  You also get 20% off your purchases (or make 20% on any sales!).  Tempted, click here and join us.

Farewell Stampin’ Up! in-colours

A word of advice! This lovely lot are retiring in a few months, if you have the ink pads, get the re-inkers now! Or, if you love the colours and need them, get the pads + the re-inkers!

We will be saying farewell to cucumber crush, delightful dijon, mint macaron, tip top taupe and watermelon wonder when the annual catalogue ends on 31 May 2017.  But, guess what, 1 June we get some new colours 🙂  In the meantime, here is what will be heading out of the door waving goodbye.

Stampin’ Up! save the dates

Hello everyone

Well, Sale-a-bration is over, what’s next?  Lots!

You may be curious about the next catalogue that comes out later in the year, what about the retiring products, what is going and what is staying?

Demonstrators will shortly get to see the new catalogue (yay for demo perks!), shortly after, we can share sneak peeks.  On 10 April, I will share with you the retiring lists as soon as I can.  Check back to see the lists!  I will also have them on my Facebook page.

Remember, retiring products are while supplies last, if you see something you need, get it and don’t hang about.

31 May is the last day that you will be able to order from both the annual and occasions catalogues, on 1 June, you get to see the brand new 2017-2018 catalogue and can start getting your hands on the brand new products.

In mid May I will be mailing out to my customers who have purchased £45 or more during the previous year, a brand new catalogue.  What YOU need to do is to check your online account in my store (click here) and ensure your address details are up to date so you get your catalogue delivered.

Stampin’ Up! spring summer blog hop

Hello, welcome to the Crafty Inklings blog hop, we are a fun team and all have a love of crafting.  If you are a mid hop, you have just come from Rebecca, after me is Cheryl and I have put the full list of hoppers at the bottom of my post.

We are showcasing products from the spring/summer catalogue which has a few months left to run, and we don’t know yet what is carrying over to the new annual catalogue that is released in June!

The spring summer catalogue had lots of things that I like and one of them is the lift me up stamp set which, if you don’t like cutting out, has coordinating framelits. This card is using the small balloon in the stamp set which I’ve stamped using the watermelon wonder ink (get this quick as it is a 2015-2017 in-colour and will retire this year).  I’ve created the hole using the circle from the stitched framelits die set and suspended the balloon using some of the silver thread.  You can spin the balloon round for some added fun!  The papers are from the cupcakes and carousels paper stack.

There are so many favourites that it was hard to choose what to show you, but these are a must.  The window shopping stamp set and coordinating dies make adorable boxes and cards.  If you love making boxes, the framelits are a must have in your supplies.  The topper die is great for using on cards and putting some glimmer paper behind.  I couldn’t find my blushing bride glimmer paper – I think I used it all making some wedding invitations! – so what you see is the darker shade which was a freebie during sale-a-bration

That’s all from me, here is the list of the Crafty Inklings who are hopping and your next visit is to Cheryl.  Do say hello in the comments of my blog before you leave and I hope you have been inspired. (If you are so inspired that you put in an order, don’t forget to use the hostess code!  Don’t forget to enter the giveaway – scroll down.).

Having moved in to our new home and then having some surgery the week after, I am getting back into the swing of things.  I’ve been sorting out the craft space and getting it how I want it, some minor tweaks and also some clearing out of ‘stuff’ and it is coming together.  My foraging into the Sale-a-bration has got me some new sets to play with and I have played with some and I do love the hey, chick set.

Hope you have a fab weekend.  I have some things to get on with – a couple of cards for commissions and getting ready for a blog hop (watch this space!).  If you are wanting to spread the cost and get some hostess rewards, I have some spaces available in a ‘spread the cost’ group that starts next month.

#ThisIsWhatAFeministLooksLike

Sometimes, you just feel compelled to do something.  This is me feeling compelled!

My lovely friend, aka ‘pretend sister’ (one of 😉 ) is adorable and she and her ‘other’ friend (yes, I say other but she has lots and I am happy to share) have got together for a # campaign. This follows the recent article about Emma Watson, search Google if you have no idea which one, I am sure it will be a big hit.

What does feminism mean?  Don’t we in this day and age strive for equality and want the world to be a fair place between gender.  So come on, get posting your #ThisIsWhatAFeministLooksLike and support the female of the species, challenge gender bias, we are all human you know! (Although I do believe that being the ‘O’Neg of the species, that I have alien blood.  I think it is pretty cool myself, as we are made up of stardust!! You can Google that one too).

Join in.

Stampin’ Up! cookie cutter punch

It’s not just for Christmas!

I love the versatility of Stampin’ Up! products, have you got the cookie cutter punch?

I know it makes the cutest reindeer, and also bears, gingerbread people and little Eskimos, but, did you know that it makes a cute rabbit?

If you don’t have the balloon punch, use a circle punch.  Most of all have some fun playing along and, like me, get making rabbits (I’ve been punching a load out for some Brownies!).
