Petal Promenade Suite

See how Stampin' Up! Product Designer and Specialist, Kaitlyn Zumbach, used floral arrangements with technology to design this paper. This paper is a gorgeous set and for me who is not particularly the floral type, I was blown away by the design.

Petal Promenade Suite

The suite itself is fabulous.  You will find the stamp set with it's coordinating dies.  Don't forget to check out the rose metallic thread, and a must have, the petal pink rhinestones.  Stampin' Up! with the way that it assists crafters, also has a coordinating cardstock pack.  They certainly make it easy to create our projects.

Distinktive Stamping Technique

There is always room for innovation in crafting and Stampin' Up! don't disappoint.  That's why we have trademarked out new style of rubber stamp and it is called Distinktive.  These stamps start with a photograph and our fantastic Stampin' Up! manufacturing team in Kanab (Utah), turn them into a photo-realistic rubber stamp.

Stampin Up Distinktive

This innovative style of stamp enables you to stamp images that have depth by just inking and stamping once and are great for enabling to you create eye-catching projects.  I am increasingly using my stamparatus to use as a stamping block, not just for bulk or two/three-step stamping but just generally as I can place my stamp where I want it and then by simply picking it up with a plate I can just ink it up and stamp. And if I have not quite inked my stamp up I don't have to worry about lining it up to stamp again.

Check them out in the video below.

Using the Blended Seasons Bundle | You're the friend Everyone Wishes They Had

Isn't that such a lovely sentiment, there are several more in this exclusive time limited bundle.  Here is a card that I have made, it's nice and simple and pretty quick to make too.

Stampin Up blended seasons

I have used a piece of A4 grapefruit grove cardstock.  This is cut in half to create my card, and then from the other half, I cut a smaller piece to create a layer and used the pumpkin pie ink pad to ink around the edges, just to make them go 'pop'.  I've layered a piece of the share what you love dsp, and then inked the edges with black ink.  I've then stamped the flower, using black ink, onto some shimmery white cardstock and the sentiment is stamped in call me clover.

stamparatus from stampin up

I find I am using the stamparatus a lot just to simply stamp now as I place the stamp where I want it, pick it up using the of the plates, ink it up and stamp!   To finish off the card, I used some of the new watercolour pencils.
I can't wait for you to be able to get your hands on this exclusive bundle which is available to purchase between 1 and 31 August 2018.  The bundle features a beautiful stamp set along with a set of gorgeous dies. The bundle, and the new watercolour pencils, are available for demonstrators only during July.   If you want (or should this read, need) to play with this bundle early, then all you need to do is to join my team.  You can add the products to your starter kit (just type in blended seasons into the search box when choosing your products) if you join during July AND receive for FREE an entire ink pad collection (that's 10 ink pads that have a value of £63).

Dandelions and brusho crystals

It was a bit too hot in the garden, so I came in to have some playtime in the crafting cave.  I do love the dandelion wishes stamp set and as I haven't played with the brusho crystals for a while, I got them them out to play with as well.

I'm finding the stamparatus is a great tool, not just for when you want to do multiple stamping, but also as a stamping block.  I do have other stamps that are bigger than my blocks so it is becoming very useful especially with the background stamps. Plus I am getting a better impression as it has the foam pad.

What I have I been doing. Well, firstly I had stamped an image from the dandelion wishes using the stamparatus as I wanted to emboss my image which I did using the clear embossing powder.  This is playtime and kind of off the cuff!  I then heat set that and gave a wash of wink of stella, I wanted to shiny!  I then dried that off with the heat gun which has a cooler setting for drying.

Next, I sprinkled on some brusho crystals and then gave it a spritz with some water.  Then dried that off again using the heat tool.

I was going to leave it as it is with the feint background, but the ink pads got the better of me!  I had stamped again with memento black, popped some versamark on top and then some clear embossing powder and then heat set that.  I did the same with the sentiment.  Using the stamparatus makes it a breeze,  if you've not seen my tutorial tip on using the stamparatus to do heat embossing, check it out here.

This is a fun technique and it's great to get out the brusho crystals and create some backgrounds.  I hope you are inspired to get your crafting supplies and have some crafting fun.

Stamparatus, ink pads and embossing powder

Sharing with you the versatility of the stamparatus!

Stamparatus embossing technique

1. Place your stamps on your cardstock where you want to stamp. Bring the stamparatus plate over to pick up your stamp.  I have used the dandelion wishes stamp to show you this technique.  I held off getting them as my wish list is long, but they have now made it to the crafting cave.

2. Ink your stamp with the base colour ink (in this case crumb cake), and stamp.

3. Keeping the stamp in place, and your cardstock, ink up your stamp with versamark, and stamp again. No need to fuss around trying to line it up by sight, you have it perfectly placed on the stamparatus.

4. Remove your cardstock, sprinkle over some clear embossing powder then heat set.

This is what you get when you combine the stamparatus, coloured ink pad, versamark and clear embossing powder.

A perfect dandelion and hopefully you can see the embossing
