Scrap time!

Do you have a box of scraps?  I have one and like to go through it now and then to see what I can do with them all, or they will just sit there doing nothing, apart from looking pretty!

I've made some little thank you cards using my scraps.  Here is my little creation, so come on get our your scrap box and do something creative :)

Card making made easy

Sometimes, I just love to open one of our card kits and settle down with some crafting out of the box.  We have several card kits and they are not just for the novice card maker but also great for those who are experienced crafters.  The boxes contain everything you need apart from your favourite glue.  You get lots of product to get creative with, you can follow the project sheets that come with your kit, or go freestyle.

A favourite of mine is the note of kindness kit, you can also top it up with a refill.

Notes Of Kindness Card Kit

The kit makes 20 cards, and once you are done, you can get a refill kit (minus the stamp/ink pad) to make 20 more.

Notes Of Kindness Card Kit

Have you seen the other project kits that we have available?  Refills are available for them as well.  The project kits make great gifts for your crafting friends/family.

Have fun!

Dashing Deer Stampin' Up! holiday catalogue sneak peek

I have to share with you this set, the dashing deer stamp set.  This set also has coordinating thinlits and coordinates with the festive farmhouse designer series paper.  These will be available to buy from 5 September which is when the Stampin' Up! holiday catalogue starts.

I like this set with the deer which has a lovely fabric pattern.  There are also some mini deer, and you don't have to worry about hand cutting them out as the coordinating thinlets can do this for you.  I also like the leaping deer that you can cut out from paper, or even create your own paper with some stamps.

As you know, you can get the bundle and save!  Why not add the product suite papers as these are also a beautiful set to add to your paper supplies

Blog Hop! Create, Inspire and Share paper crafting projects

Welcome to my blog post, I hope you are enjoying our Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Blog Hop featuring pet theme projects that celebrate the Doggy Days of Summer. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe are participating so we have a wide array of fun projects to share with you! You may have arrived from Sandy's blog. She had a fabulous project!

We are a family that welcomed some house rabbits into the home and these are from when Daisy and Duke joined us.  They also make appearances as #bunniesofinstagram.  I have created a couple of scrapbook layouts to share with you.  These are 6x8" to fit in the smaller album.

I've used one sheet of paper from the tranquil tide designer series paper set and some scraps from the share what you love papers.  I just love that Stampin' Up! paper is mostly double sided and even though these are two different product suites, you can still mix and match.  You'll find at the bottom of my post the supplies I have used to create the two scrapbook layouts.  Guess what, I have used the other side of the paper to create the second layout!!

Please add a comment, it makes me happy to see people have visited my blog and enjoyed seeing my creations.

Thanks for hopping with us. Now click on the next image to zoom to Anastasia's blog to see what fun ideas she designed.

Making memories Scrapbooking

Here's a quick layout that I have made to go into my 8x6 album.  I've used some scraps of rich razzleberry cardstock and trimmed down a sheet of the old olive (these papers are also in the share what you love cardstock pack).  I also had a scrap of the paper from the tranquil textures papers.  I've simply layered these up, added some washi tape and punched some circles.  A bit of washi tape, some of the new glitter enamel dots (if you shopped with me in July, a pack has been posted to you today as my VIP thank you!), then some jute twine finishes it off.

Scrapbooking petal promenade

The scrapbooking mojo sometimes fires up at strange times.  Last night I was laying shimmery white embossing paste down on a piece of paper from the petal promenade set!  I finished the layout today, and here it is.

Stampin up scrapbooking

It's using one of the flower papers (and I am not really a flowery person) which I love.  Whether it is because it is so realistic, but then the picture is of real flowers, but I have been turned into a flowery paper lover!  As I said about, I have laid down some of the shimmery white embossing paste and let it to dry.  I've then added some polka dot ribbon, silver twine and I found a piece of silver glimmer paper so used that too.  I also cut out some of the border from one of the other pieces of the petal promenade paper back.  Added a bit of the lovely velvet ribbon and put some gems around.  The journaling square, this is cut out from the piece where I cut the border.

Check it out the petal promenade suite
