Get creative with embossing paste and thinlits

It’s time to get the embossing paste out, and this is the gorgeous shimmery white embossing powder that is coming out to play.  I don’t get it out as much as I should as it is a super medium for adding texture to your creations.  I really wanted to do something different with the paste, well try something out really.  Having perused my dies I chose one from the window box set.  I have used this before to create a focal point for a card, and it’s time to step it up.

I used a scrap piece of cardstock to die cut the ‘flowery’ die to create your stencil.  So you can see the die stencil better I’ve put it on top of some tranquil tide cardstock.

Using your palette knife, gently spread some of the embossing paste over your stencil, don’t press too hard as you don’t want it to spread through the stencil.

Once you have a layer that you are happy with, gently lift up your stencil and voila, using this die cut, this is the result.

I hope you get your paste out and have some fun with your die cuts.
