Snowflake merry and bright

Here in the crafting cave, I couldn’t find my grey cardstock to make a card base and have therefore improvised.  I used some of the silver embossing paste (released Jan 2018) on some a white card front, let it dry and voila, grey cardstock!

I have embossed some of the heavy vellum with the snowflake embossing folder and layered this over my (dry) card base.  From the scrap box a little bit of paper has gone on the bottom and then I have used some of the silver metallic thread, a piece of ribbon and stamped the merry and bright sentiment from the hearts come home stamp set.  I’ve also used some wink of stella, not sure you can see that, and some of the new self-adhesive sequins (released Jan 2018).

I hope you like it, it didn’t take long to put together once the paste had dried but it was a really thin layer.  It may have worked ok creating a watercolour effect using a slate grey reinker but I am slightly addicted to the paste.

Kool Kitty musings has had a 2017 pantone challenge and this card is for December.
