I love my Wednesday (day off), I can veg in the crafting cave at my leisure and do some crafting interspersed with some household chores. You know, like checking up on the house rabbits!
In the crafting cave today, I’ve made several cards and just wanted to show you this one. Do you remember the stamp set gorgeous grunge, that set is not retired but have you seen the timeless textures set? This is, in my view, a great replacement if you love the grungy style. I have also used a sentiment from the hopeful thoughts which is retiring from the 2017-2018 catalogue.
As I didn’t want a messy card, I had punched the starburst out from a post it note, popped this on the card and then stamped over this using the flowery stamp from the timeless textures set.
When you remove the post-it, you can have a nice clean edge. You could stamp in the middle and leave the card as it is.
As I was building my card, I added some metallic silver thread to the back of the ‘red’ punched starburst and placed this where the post it note was. Then I added some washi tape, and having stamped a sentiment from the hopeful thoughts punched this out using the tailored tag punch. I went around the tailored tag punch out using the chocolate chip marker. I hope you like it.
