Creative52 – week 4

Oh my, I am late! I am not entirely sure where my week has gone.  Apart from having a clear out of craft ‘things’ and spending what seems forever listing them on that auction site, where if you look you may well find something you would like to take off my hands,  the days have been take up with what I am going to call ‘fluff’.  It must be that age thing of time passes quicker as you get older.

I have cleared and rejigged my crafting area, sorted out drawers, found stuff, stuff that I have had for many  years, put it on the pass it on pile, only to put in the nah, can’t part with that just yet pile.  Please say that you are with me on this.  Today, still on the sorting path, I found one of those photo envelope folders, complete with some snaps and this is what has inspired me for Creative52.

Whilst rooting through my supplies, I must admit that I am a Graphic45 lover and this has come out to play this week to create  a page to go into my scrapbook album.

What  I love about this style is that you can do as much, or as little, as you want to create quick and easy scrapbook pages.

Have fun getting creative.

Cat Punch

Halloween junkies!

Are you like me and like the end of October?  I put it down to my Celtic roots, yes, I did my DNA with Ancestry.com!  I am more of the Samhain,  and it’s a celebration of the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, and that it is the transition between the seasons which is a bridge to the world of the dead.  As it is nowadays, it is an evening of spooky fun.  But, I like to think that it is a time for those who have gone before to ‘pop in’.

For those that celebrate the event, we have an array of products to enjoy the festivities.  I had to get the cat punch, not just for Halloween mind you.  See the array of supplies here.

It was a no brainer for me though, and I indulged in the bundle, I love the cat stamp, can you see the face?  This is great for punching the cat out onto black paper and stamping the face with some white ink.  A tip – grab some of the ink spots and ink with your favourite colours if you don’t want the big pads, also ideal for taking to crafting days.
